I’m honored! Really!

I’m going to take a minute to pat myself on the back. The annual APA | SD Photo Exhibition is coming up and I’m proud to say I’ve once again been selected to display work. This is such an honor to me since many of my pals and peers that I greatly admire have been included. The above photo was selected as a 2nd place winner. It’s validating, sure, but more than that it’s a chance to share work with a larger audience and be part of something special in the local art community.

The show, which runs as a one-night only exhibition, functions also as a silent auction to benefit the esteemed Museum of Photographic Arts here in San Diego. Both MOPA and APA are organizations that I belong to and I have great respect for their work and programs. This show is a chance to support both and to walk home with a new piece of art. And, I’ll let you in on a secret, the prints usually go for a fraction of what they are worth. The photos here are the two pieces that were selected (photo at right is from my San Diego UNSEEN project). If you’re interested in owning one, show up and bid your best. See you there!
